Social Media Backlash Countless users and merchants are posting online claiming that product pages now present a different size category versus the original listing because of the remapping. Vinted explained the updated approach better aligns with similar services. It has advised users to review their products and update the measurements by hand where appropriate, which has left users frustrated. Sizing System Modifications Before the change, the sizes had both a single numeric size and a letter, for instance S/8 or M/10. The new system has an alphabetical indicator and numerical range like S/UK 8-10. For certain items, the sizing has been recategorised - for example a size L used to be a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18. User Accounts Frankie Bridger, who creates plus-size fashion videos, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder". "Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," the way the service now categorizes. A different member, from Glasgow, said garments she listed featuring size 14 markings were appearing on the platform as measurements 20-22. "If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they're going to be very disappointed," she said.
